About the Course

You understand there are many security risks you face and that you have a legal  responsibility to safeguard that information, but you aren’t sure how to get started  in performing a proper risk assessment, and how to find the areas that you should  be concerned with patching those security holes. In fact, you aren’t exactly sure  how to even get started. If those statements describe you, this course is definitely  for you!
This course is a continuation of Cyber Security – Part I  - Why you Need to secure  your small business against cyber threats, and we cover the next steps you can  take to perform a self-assessment of your risks. We will cover areas of Physical  Safeguards, Personnel Security, and Computer Systems & Information Security. We  will go over checklists you can follow to perform a self-assessment and provide  ideas for creating your own WISP (Written Information Security Plan)
